Dave started his new job this week with CBI. Needless to say, he absolutely LOVES it! He's pretty proud of himself in uniform. We just found out with this company, they will keep him POST certified so he won't have to retest next year to keep his Police Certification.
I'm pretty impressed with this year so far. It has been a pretty positive year so far (I know, its only day 7). We have had one downer this year though... And that would be my car trying to take a poop! I was driving down the road and my steering wheel wouldn't turn anymore! FREAKY! I had a hose blow that holds my power steering fluid. I'm trying to think off all the positives in negatives. The positive in this situation is I am thankful we had the money to get it fixed. We only need my car to get us through April. We are looking into selling mine and getting a HONDA!! No more American cars for us.
I started a new semester in school. After April I will have finished four years of college.... YIKES! After this semester I will begin taking courses to get me ready for the Radiation Therapy program. :)

RECAP OF 2010
January: We found our recently my dad had prostate cancer. We were preparing to plan a time for him to go into surgery to have it removed.
February: My dad suddenly fell into a coma.
March: Our great friends Brittany and Derick got married :) But the same exact day Dave's dad had emergency open heart surgery. Dave's mom's dad also had caridac arrest.
April: I was robbed at gunpoint at work.
May: My dad passed away :( Dave's grandpa also passed away.
June: I turned 21 and got married to the love of my life :)
July: Adjusting to married life.
August: My dad's best friend passed away :(
September: School starts
October: Not sure on this month.
November: We moved!
December: Dave got a new job and told his other job to shove it! We also lost our dear friend Katie in a car accident.
This year was one of the worst years ever. As you can see there were many negative things happening this year. For 2011 we hope it brings us nothing but good.
Our goals for 2011:
*Get my Associates Degree and begin my major in Radiation Therapy.
*Take an EMT course with Dave
*Attend Zumba at least 3 times a week
*Get a new car
*Learn to cook
*Have date night at least once a month
*Get a 3.5 GPA
*Get Dave a police job
