Life!
Dave and I have 34 days til we get married! This has definitely been the hardest year of our lives! We brought my dad home on Thursday May 20, 2010. He had a health decline within the last 2 weeks. The doctors finally did one last MRI and found out that the cognitive part of his brain no longer works. Since that part of the brain doesn't work it means he would never be able to do anything anymore. This means he is in a vegetative state. The doctor told us they can't go on with treatment. We decided to bring him home so we could spend his last few days with him. :(

I'm so glad you have Dave to help get you through this. Gaining you as a sister is one of the best things about our parents getting married. Love you Heather!
